Cheesy, Cheesy, and not in the ostentatious way. This would be the best way to describe the pizza I had the other day at the Grand Lux Cafe in Boca Raton, at the Town Center Mall.
I should know better then to let my wife decide where to eat. Seems like anytime I tell her to pick a place, and no matter where it is I will be happy, I end up unhappy. Her brilliant choice this week was the Grand Lux Cafe.
Had a friend visiting from NYC the other night and thought it would be fun to take him to Vic & Angelo’s Pizza in Delray Beach. After discovering there was a two hour wait, we tried Louie Louies Pizza on Atlantic Avenue as well, but they too had a small wait. We continued to wander down the street checking place to place until we found 32 East.
Eric went to a place today and sent me in this review on Dom & Louie’s Pizza in Boynton Beach, Florida .
If you visit the website make sure to lower the volume on your speakers or you will be rudely interrupted with unnecessarily loud distracting music.
While getting my oil changed today, I got hungry and ventured out into the shopping center to see what places were around. I noticed there was a brand new pizza place that just opened called Dom & Louie’s Pizza. Upon entering this new store, the owner made me feel welcomed.
After throwing out my pizza from Nicky’s Restaurant across the street (please see previous post), I walked into Mario’s. All the excitement of being back in “New York” had been deflated and I wasn’t expecting much. However the pizza here was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but if every pizza joint was like this, there would be no reason to complain.
This review of Nicky’s pizza is temporarily under review, although we may have not liked it, please go in and try it for yourself. In my personal opinion, Mario’s across the street is much more appetizing and would personally choose to go there.

Since I was going to a Holiday Party and didn’t really care what pizza place my son decided to order from, I went against my better judgment and ordered him in Papa Johns Pizza. Although I intended on leaving prior to the pizza coming, I must say I was impressed with the speedy delivery time. Ordering from their online site was pretty easy but that is all the nice things I could say.
Casa Del-Dio Pizza in Fern Park, FL used to always win Best Pizza in Orlando awards in the local papers. I ate at the restaurant back then, and the pizza was good, but nothing too exceptional. Then for some reason, I thought Casa Del-Dio went out of business. I tried going to the restaurant a few times, and they were always closed and empty looking. Recently, I drove by, and they were open again, so I gave them a try. We had a large cheese pizza and some garlic bread.
De Napoli pizza is located across from what I think is one of the nicest buildings in Downtown West Palm Beach, 610 Clematis. Located on 523 Clematis Street in West Palm (561) 835-8522 De Napoli Pizza was a place I passed dozens of times but never tried.

This post was written by Margaret who moved to Naples with Augie. One of the first pizzas that I ate in Napoli was the pizza Mari. After tasting it, I giggled to myself thinking, “oooh boy! Love at first bite!” My dorkish sentimentality was genuine. To me this is an indication of true love.
