Muvico recently sold their Boca Raton movie theater to Cinemark. As we have previously stated here, in our opinion Muvico was a much better run theater under the previous owners. The new owners have raised all the prices, lowered portions and have given most of us a sub-par experience.

Working on Wall St, in NYC isn’t usually the best area to find a good pizza pie. Sometimes ordering from a place that you haven’t tried before is like buying a stock you have done zero research on. Sure it could be good and end up giving you rewards, but it could also cause your stomach to drop like enron stock.
King Umberto’s in Elmont, NY holds the top spot on my list for best pizza. It’s a mandatory stop whenever I’m on Long Island, and the pizza is almost always excellent. One of the factors that sets King Umberto’s apart from the others is the variety of pizza that’s always available by the slice, regardless of the time of day.

Behind FAU there is a section called the Research and Development Park. In past years it was reserved strictly for Research orientated companies. We looked at space for a company there years ago and were told we would have to have some sort of research focus.
Just when I thought that the former Bloomin Newmans pizza location was unsellable, and un-leasable, someone proves me wrong and takes a pretty big chance buying a location that has been doomed for failure.

I tried Burt’s Place’s pan pizza the other day, the famous pizza place in Morton Grove owned by Burt Katz that has been featured on Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations.
Let me first start off by saying that the photo I’ve supplied doesn’t do this pie justice. I took a photo of the fresh, hot pizza after I was served a slice, but for some reason my G1’s camera froze up and the photo I took was never saved to memory. So to suffice, I’ve included a photo of a slice I took home.
