N.Y.P.D. Pizza Lantana
Went with my brother in law on a tour of some pizza places throughout Lantana/Lake Worth the other day. We started with N.Y.P.D. Pizza in Lantana, located on 121 S. 3rd Street 561.202.9111. They say on their menu that they have New York’s Finest Brick Oven Pizza, and I was up for the challenge to see if they were right or wrong.
NYPD pizza is a bit run down inside, and located in a pretty run down shopping center. Not usually the place I would pull in to try, and I am sure many others share my sentiment. Perhaps 20 years ago this shopping center might have been deemed nice, but as for now it is in desperate need of an update.

La Pizza Boca Raton Closes
We are just receiving word that La Pizza in Boca Raton, right next to Mizner Park has closed. After some unfortunate family issues, we guess the owner couldn’t handle it anymore. I have to tell you, we are deeply sorry to see this place goes. This was one of the better mom and pop places around the area, and had a loyal local following. Guess the immediate local crowd was supportive enough though.
From our previous review, you can see we thought they made exceptional crust here. We even gave them a 5 out of 8. The place was so quaint inside, and when you walked in they smiled and made you feel at home. Boca has lost out on one of the good guys. We hope to see him again soon, and reopen once things straighten out for him! This is not the type of pizza place that should have gone out of business. Come on people, step up and reward your local pizzeria, instead of ordering that cardboard crap.
Worstpizza.com wishes you luck Pino!
PizzaTweetup at Wild Olives in Boca Raton
Last night we had our largest turnout ever for a PizzaTweetup. Thanks to the over 100 pizza lovers who attended last nights event at Wild Olives by Todd English, in Boca Raton, Florida. We were served dozens of their flat bread creations, and drinks were priced extremely generous. Thanks to the wonderful staff for accommodating such a huge amount of people at once.
Huge thanks to Liz Dzuro for taking these amazing photos!

Vincent’s Clam Bar Pizza Carle Place

Although I have eaten at Vincent’s dozens of times, I never had the pizza there before.
By the way, my name is Jake, and I am the nephew to the Pizza Expert, and as he told me, I am the youngest person to ever review here. I am only 10 years old, but i know pizza. My uncle takes me to eat it all the time with him when he visits me.
Bianca’s Italian Pizza at South Florida Fair
What is it about Fair food that makes it look so good, smell so good and sound so good (how does a donut burger with bacon and cheese sound?), and yet taste so bad. From fried pickles, bologna sandwiches &r Twinkies, you get just about anything fried. You can get just about anything on a stick; including meats, frozen cheesecake dipped in chocolate, bananas, strawberries, even cheese.Anthony’s Pizza Casselberry, FL
The last time I ate at Anthony’s Pizza in Casselberry, FL was way back when smoking was still allowed in Florida restaurants. I don’t remember much about the food, just that the smoking/non-smoking sections served no purpose in the small restaurant. The place smelled horribly like an ashtray and as a non-smoker, this left me with no desire to return any time soon.
Miami’s Best Pizza – Wonder Who Gave Them This Title
After appearing on CBS12 News down here, I received hundreds of emails about local places to try. A good portion of them were in Miami, and many of the University of Miami students were praising Miami’s Best Pizza. So naturally I put it on my list of places to definitely try when in the area.
Well the day arrived when we hopped in the car and took the trek down there to check this place out. Upon entering Miami’s Best Pizza, you can quickly see that they are not lying about how long they have been open. The place hasn’t been changed since the first day I bet. But that is ok, since it had this “pizza joint” kind of feel to it.
Uncle Joe’s Pizza Lake Grove Long Island
Uncle Joes Pizza is just down the block from La Grova. I thought La Grova would be my favorite of the day, but Uncle Joe’s held its own. Upon talking to the owner of Uncle Joe’s, it quickly became apparent, this guy and I have similar views on pizza.
Uncle Joe’s opened up 25 years ago, and as the owner states: “it was back when people didn’t put toppings on their slices of pizza. When you wanted a slice, you just said give me a slice.” Prior to opening in Lake Grove they were in Astoria then Lynbrook, Rosedale, and Albertson.
