Just got back from trying out a new place that opened near Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, named Hot Pie Pizza. Upon walking into the place I was pretty impressed with the decor and layout of the restaurant. They had a full bar in the front by the door and windows, and a row of booths to the narrow corridor on the left. We were greeted by an amazingly friendly server, who also happened to be the bar tender.

Gregorio’s is on N. Goodman St. about a block north of Clifford Ave., right across the street from Bausch & Lomb. (There’s another place named Gregorio’s on Chili Ave. in SW Rochester, which used to serve pizza, but last time I drove by it appeared to be strictly a convenience store.)
When I Fratelli pizza first arrived at the office I was working at in Bedford, Texas I had pretty high hopes. The box was uniquely shaped and the printing on it was certainly different than other pizza box generic style printing.
Tried: Fungi (tomato, cheese, mushrooms)
Tried Belezza Pizza in Limhamn once again despite a previous experience because it is conveniently located nearby my residence. What strikes me most odd about their pizza is the paper-thin dough, even worse than other Swedish restaurants.
Giovanni’s Pizza Ristorante is located within the Home Depot shopping center in Palm Beach Gardens. My wife decided to go into a store in the plaza, that my son and I had zero interest in checking out. We decided to take a walk around to see what other stores were there. Low and behold we found a pizza place and took a peek inside.
After hearing good things about Joe Jamz Pizza in Hollywood from my sister and one of my editors at work, my dad, other sister and I decided to order in and try it out. I should have known from Pizza Expert that this was probably a mistake on our part, seeing as how the pizza definitely changes from sitting in the box for half an hour in the delivery car before it arrived to our door. It’s safe to say that I don’t think this pie would have tasted much better fresh in the restaurant either.
Tired of hanging around the hotel, we decided to do some detective work and investigate the local fare. In a spankin’ new plaza across street we found NYPD Pizza.
Today was BOGO Tuesday so we went for a straight cheese pie as well as a pepperoni.
We were super starving and this was our first meal of the day. Well…this would have been a good day to begin fasting.

The guys over at PizzaFusion were gracious enough to host about 34 of us the other night in their Fort Lauderdale location for a PizzaTweetup. For those of you who have never eaten at Pizza Fusion before, you should know that they are all Organic. Even the cars they deliver the pizza in are Hybrids, which produce low harmful carbon emissions. But there is nothing organic about the taste of the pizza here!
We were heading to eat at Spris Pizza on Lincoln Road the other day when I asked the PizzaExpert if I could stop in and try a slice of the pizza at Pizza Rustica. Since I no longer live in Florida, and have since relocated to NYC, I never got to try this place. Many of my buddies brag about how amazing the pizza is, and I needed to check it myself.
Tivoli’s is in Utica, MI, or about 25 minutes outside of Detroit. The fundamental focus here is high quality pizza, salads, and sandwiches. Ingredients are fresh and nearly everything is made in house. I’ve eaten at Tivoli’s twice and both times I was impressed with not 0nly the food, but also the service & the care put into making sure I left happy.
My first visit was for lunch, so I grabbed a couple slices to go.
