Joseph’s Classic Market Pizza Boca Raton

A new Italian market opened up in Boca Raton at the Boca Center, occupying the space where Bombay Kids used to be. Known as Josephs Classic Italian Market, they have a variety of freshly prepared foods and even a pizza oven. If Bombay Kids would have sold pizza they probably would have had a better chance of serving one that I would like.

Gio’s Pizza Miller Place Long Island
It never ceases to amaze me how developed eastern Long Island has become. The further my sister drives me out on the island, the more and more new strip malls and houses pop up. We were heading out to the Hamptons, when my sister told me about a pizza place my father and her like to frequent when out those ways. She thinks they have some really good garlic knots, as well as some quality pizza. The name of the place is Gio’s of Miller place.

PizzaVolante Pizza Tweetup Miami Design District

The other night we had an amazing time at PizzaVolante in the Miami Design District courtesy of our gracious and generous hosts. When I arrived I was in awe that our host Jonathan Eismann (of Pacific Time) actually set up a table to display the pizzas we would eat. Each pizza had a sign behind it explaining what the pizza was called and what it was made with. Jonathan really went above and beyond my expectations. He even decorated the table, and had someone standing there to serve us the pizza. Jonathan = CLASS ACT

Pepperoni Grill Pizza Coral Springs

The Pepperoni Grill is located in Coral Springs and a place I never really noticed, therefore never tried. We were heading to our friends house in Parkland the other weekend, and offered to stop off to get some pizza long the way. Usually I figure it is safer for me to choose where to go, this way I ensure that I enjoy the pizza we will eat.

Villa Roma Pizza New Port Richey, FL
This is our first of what I hope many reviews we will be getting from Miss Destructo. Why is making a road trip to Villa Roma pizza in New Port Richey, FL important? Because here among the faded Pappas Plaza holds the holy grail of pizza.
Upon arrival we were treated like family by the staff, very friendly wait staff and everyone will come over to make sure you are satisfied with your order. We ordered the supreme pizza, which came out in less than 20 minutes.

Authentic Brooklyn Pizza in Boca Raton
We welcome Dori to our list of Pizza Experts. You can read more from her on her website, Fat Kids Club.
All good things come out of Brooklyn, don’t they? The Dodgers, my Grandma, and damn good pizza.
And eventually, all good things that come out of Brooklyn migrate somewhere else. The Dodgers went to Los Angeles, my Grandma went to Century Village, and Authentic Brooklyn Pizza came to Boca Raton.

Panino’s Pizza Park Ridge Chicago
I have been bored by thin crust pizza. There, I admitted it. I have found pizza’s deeper dish brother to be far more exciting as of late. Deep dish pizza has so much more flavor, depth, and fulfillment…but also so many more calories. I craved a hot piece of pizza the other night, but I knew the right thing to do was to placate myself less sinfully with thin crust. I hedged my bets on a new pizza place in Park Ridge called Paninos.

Hong Kong House Pizza Rochester NY
Another great post from our friends at The Rochester NY Pizza Blog.
Yes, you read that right. The Hong Kong House. A Chinese restaurant. On a pizza blog.
Over the years, this location has housed “Little Saigon,” “Fast Chinese Restaurant” (love that name), and the Imperial Chinese restaurant. Given the building’s facade, it will probably always house something along those lines, barring a major facelift.

Vito’s Gourmet Pizza Fort Lauderdale
On the way to a birthday party for one of my wife’s friends, we stopped to grab some garlic knots at Vito’s Pizza Fort Lauderdale 954.772.7701. While there, I was pretty impressed with the way they were making their pizzas.

Little Louie’s Pizza Spencerport, NY Best Pizza Rochester
This is another excellent post from our friends at The Rochester NY Pizza Blog.
Little Louie’s in on North Union St. (Rt. 259), just off Rt. 104 in Spencerport. It’s in a small strip plaza that it shares with a dance studio and a fireplace dealer.
The way the pizza is served here is a little unusual.
