Villa Roma Pizza New Port Richey, FL
Slice Rating
This is our first of what I hope many reviews we will be getting from Miss Destructo. Why is making a road trip to Villa Roma pizza in New Port Richey, FL important? Because here among the faded Pappas Plaza holds the holy grail of pizza.
Upon arrival we were treated like family by the staff, very friendly wait staff and everyone will come over to make sure you are satisfied with your order. We ordered the supreme pizza, which came out in less than 20 minutes.
I couldn't believe my eyes, all of the perfectly placed ingredients, the lack of grease and the golden brown thin, crispy crust. I thought there was no way I could pick this up this Ingredient Tower Of Babel without disasterous results, I went in for the kill and to my surprise, the thin crust did not even bend. I knew I had met my match.
All the peppers, onions and thinly sliced tomatoes were fresh and crispy! No frozen flavor here!
The sauce is also fresh, smooth, well spread and not over powering to the toppings.
Of course no meal is complete without satisfying the oddities of my taste buds, enjoying the crust with a helping of fresh anchovies. I love those little buttery, salty fishes and these were delicious with the crispy, fresh crust.
My father Cpt. Spauldad says "It's the kind of pizza you'd dumpster dive for. It's that damn good".
