Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizzeria Tarzana California
Big Mama’s & Papa’s is noted for (an empty claim) having the world’s largest pizza, a 36 incher they sell on their regular menu. Geez, I’d love to go for that, at least for the photo opportunity. But what would I do with it then? Their description says it is cut into 50 slices. Here, tonight, I am four slices into a 13″ medium, and can’t go on.

Ikea Pizza Sunrise, FL
The idea of having a slice of Pizza at Ikea the other day was just too tempting. I mean, what could a put it together yourself store, possibly offer in the way of a $1.75 slice of pizza. I knew what I was in for, but I had to take one for the team, and be able to tell you if you should eat this pizza, regardless of how hungry you are. Quick synapses….DON’T!

Tony’s Authentic Pizza Bedford Texas
Here is a shocker, even pizza places in Bedford, TX now serve Authentic New York Style Pizza, Pasta & Subs. This is exactly what Tony’s Authentic Pizza says on their menu. I didn’t even know New York had Authentic Pasta or Authentic Subs. Who would have thought that I could learn this, by coming to a small town like Bedford, just outside Dallas, TX.

Best Frozen Pizza is Pizza Olympiad From Trader Joe’s
Trader Joes, that marvel of a grocer that I have written about before, has come up with another winner with their Pizza Olympiad, two small frozen pies in a box, 15 oz total. with Kalamata olives, feta and mozzarella.
The crust and toppings on this sucker are divine, and it bakes up swell, reminiscent of a pie straight from a brick oven, with the toppings having the appearance, taste and texture of very fresh. One note of caution, however, that after the prescribed amount of time in the oven, the feta was still chilly, the chemical composition of feta apparently makes it “freeze harder” than mozzarella. (This is apparent in my pic).

Tucci’s Pizza in Boca Raton, Florida, just notified me that they will be giving away FREE FOOD and offering $3.00 beer and wine during the following World Cup Soccer Games.

DellaVentura’s Restaurant & Pizza Davie Florida
I was sitting at my desk at work when one of our vendors brought in pizza from a local pizza place, DellaVentura’s Restaurant & Pizza. I used to know the family who owned DellaVentura’s but they sold the place a few years back. Everyone I work with swarmed the pies, but at work when the food is free, this normally the case.
