I have been a fan of worstpizza.com for some time now.  As a former New Yorker, when I lived in New Jersey I could hardly find a decent slice.  Since moving to Boca Raton, what I wouldn’t give for some New Jersey Pizza.

There are however several places worth eating, and with that I am very excited about writing my first review for worstpizza.com.  This weekend I went to a 5 year old girls birthday party and I was, as always, very curious to see where they would get the pizza from.  They brought in from Tomasso's Pizza and I immediately thought this was good news.  I have seen worse on the birthday party circuit.  I got my slice and immediately noticed huge bubbles in the crust.  I never gave much thought to the bubbles in the crust, but after reading posts here on worstpizza.com regarding bubbles in the crust showing the pizziola's apathy towards the baking process, I was amazed by how obtrusive and large these bubbles were.  Then, my 4 year old daughter wouldn’t eat hers, and I switched it with another kid who wasn’t looking.  Overall the pizza was good.  A generous amount of cheese, the sauce a little acidic (sayeth my wife), and the crust a little floppy (probably because it sat around in advance of the party, not the pizza store’s fault).  Overall, the pizza was better than average and Id be happy if another birthday party served Tomasso’s pizza.  5 out of  8 slices.
