We passed by Luigi’s Pizzeria in East Setauket while were going to see a town I had never heard of before after living in Long Island for decades named Strong’s Neck. Along the way I got hungry and saw it located in a shopping center at the stop light we were stuck at. We pulled in to see if this pizza was any good.
Luigi’s Pizza was clean and nice inside. After walking past several booths I arrived at the pizza counter which had a nice variety of pies behind the glass enclosure. A not so friendly young man asked me what I wanted and I ended up ordering a regular slice and a Sicilian slice. I wanted garlic knots too but I didn’t see them displayed. This is a weird way to try to sell people on items. Hiding your knots doesn’t make customers crave them when they see them. Luigi’s takes the hidden approach to their food I guess.
