Since I didn't have enough pizza already today, I figured it would be smart to go and have some more when my friend Jim invited me to eat with him.  Jim chose Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza in Boca Raton, which I wasn't happy about since I had recently eaten at the one in Delray Beach (about 15 minutes from Boca Raton) and thoroughly disliked it! But since I hadn't been to the local one, I tried it........and that will be the last time I allow Jim to pick the place.

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza has signs all over the restaurant saying Warning, our pizza is "well done" as you can see in the above photo.  The problem with making a statement like this is keeping consistency in the pizza.  See it is ok to have well done crusts, and it is common when having wood fired, or coal fired ovens, but if you are going to make the pie well done, you better see to it that the rest of the pizza cooks properly as well or you need to turn down the heat of the oven to properly cook it.  As you can see by my photo of my pie the crust was borderline burnt but the center of the pizza wasn't cooked properly at all and it made for a terrible taste.  I would not recommend this place and would suggest you try Red Rock Pizza in Boca Raton instead.  I am giving Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza in Boca Raton 2 out of 8 slices.
