As the son of pizzaexpert, I hold pizza to a higher standard then most 11 year olds. While visiting some family near Vero Beach, my uncle took me to a new pizza place called Vittorio’s II Pizza located on Route 60. After researching it seems like Vittorio’s has another pizza location to the south, but I have not gone there yet.

My culinary conquests are mainly focused on NYC but we can’t forget about the island to the east, Long Island, where there’s more great food than people realize. NYC Food Guy is here to make your sojourns outside the city more enjoyable by shedding light on Long Island’s best food.

Even though our favorite waitress wasn’t there we decided to eat some pizza the other day at Sal’s Italian Restaurant in Boca Raton near Congress Ave. We have now learned why our favorite waitress with the red streaks in her hair wasn’t there…She Quit! We will miss you Charlotte.

Scotti Pizzatti’s just opened up in Deerfield Beach. On my way to get the wife at the airport the other day, I passed it and decided to give it a try. Scotti Pizzatti’s is located on 119 N Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach. 954-428-8100.
