The other pie my wife brought to me during my taping in Springfield was from Semonlina.  She said from the street, seeing that wood burning oven enticed her to come on in. I couldn't help but feel the same way when I looked inside before going to my filming.

Few times I meet a pizza owner whose attitude could make the pizza taste better then it probably did, and this own is one of those guys.  Joseph, the owner is a class act. He Cares about his products and his customers more than is regularly expected.

Joseph told me he told me that he couldn't store wood in a basement, and couldn't keep it in car, so it was difficult finding the right location to open. Although I didn't particularly like the sauce at Semolina, there is no doubt in my mind that many others would find this place exceptional. It was sweet and tasty, but far too chunky for my exquisite taste-buds.  The crust was amazing, even after sitting in the box for as long as it did.  Keep in mind, my wife drove me this pie about 10 minutes, and then it sat there for about another 7-10 minutes.  Yet it still tasted pretty darn good.  The cheese was an awesome fresh mozzarella.

No expenses to quality or detail seemed to be spared at Semolina, and if you happen to be driving through town, it is worth a stop!
