, located on 156-71 Cross Bay Blvd in Jamaica, NY.  It is like my White Castle hamburgers of Pizza.  The sauce is very good until I get the slice with way to much.  The dough is great and then I get the under cooked slice or burnt slice.

New Park Pizza is over 50 years old and I have been eating pizza there for about 40 of those years.  As a kid with my parents and I loved to stand there at the then outdoor counter that has been enclosed in the last 2 decades or so.  The neon sign is a classic but the quality control is kinda well "Whacked"

A few months ago before I got on my plane to Florida I had them pack up a pie for me to go.  The effort and the love that went into my package was way over the top.  This guy knew a job worth doing was worth doing right.  When I arrived in FL a few hours later my family enjoyed a NY pizza only 3 hours old.

On a day when they have it all together with no doubt it is a 7 out of 8 slice rating all day.  The packing job they did for me was 100% the best, but the days when it is soggy over sauced, and under cooked it is better to just throw it out and go to Gino's down the block.  Now you understand my dilemma, and like a girlfriend you had when you were in high school, you never know what girl you will have on prom night.  The cute nice one you originally asked out, or the evil wench prude she tuned into soon after.

I will give New Park Pizza in Howard Beach 6 out of 8 slices.  If you are there, throw the dice and hope to cover the spread.
