, but I had never been to the Theater District location. This one is next to the Ed Sullivan Theater home of Late Night with David Letterman on Broadway.

My friend works across the street and eats there so often, that for some absurd reason he is tired of the pizza at Angelo's, but that's like David Arquette being tired of Courtney Cox, it doesn't make sense. How could you be tired of something like her, but I guess that is a topic of discussion for another site.

This is good pizza, really good pizza, from crust to cheese. Like the other Angelo's Pizza location in New York City I previously at, I wouldn't go out of my way to get pizza here. If you are in the Theater District there are a lot of terrible pizza places serving crap to unsuspecting tourists so if you are looking for a safe bet, Angelo's Pizza is an outstanding choice.

Although I chose to get some toppings on this pie (thanks to family pressure) I would recommend the plain pie to anyone who is about to embark on a journey here. The cheese was delightful on top of their sweet, fresh, but not so smooth sauce. Certain parts of the pie did have excessive amounts of crust, and the pie was not cooked evenly, so if you are not fond of that sort of pizza, this might not be the place for you, or maybe they were just a bit stingy with the sauce and cheese on the pie they served me. Either way, the taste made it a place worthy of me recommending to anyone who reads this.

Angelo's Pizza, the one on Broadway gets 6 of 8 slices.
