I was happy to recently be invited to Roger Dean stadium to watch some minor league baseball.  My friends child was having a birthday party there, and he was kind enough to get a suite for us to enjoy the game. One of the food items they bought was Pizza. After tasting it, it made me think that perhaps I was better off not even noticing it was sitting there.

You see...in my opinion this pizza didn't even taste like it had real cheese on it. And what I could taste to be cheese was some concoction of several different varieties of whatever cheese was leftover. It is like someone said I have some cheddar, ok throw it on.  I have some parmesan, ok throw it on. I have something that resembles mozzarella cheese, ok throw it on. Seriously, this is how it tasted, except that it tasted like it was applied on top of a Boboli pizza crust they took out of the freezer. Once again, this is only my opinion, but if you are going to serve pizza to people at a birthday party in a suite that wasn't cheap, shouldn't you serve something that resembles quality?

I would talk about the sauce, but I am still at a loss for words to describe what I tasted. After one square piece, I had about all the pizza I could eat and went to pick the skin off the chicken fingers instead.

The party was great, the game was great, and the company was great. The food on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. Any place that keeps pizza warmed by using a sterno, isn't a place I want pizza.
