My son ordered the pizza from Maggiano's in Boca Raton the other day after putting up a fight that he didn't want to eat anything there. Not sure why, but throughout his entire life, he has always seemed to be against anything we wanted to do.  Kinda like that song from Groucho Marx "whatever it is, I'm against it."  Maggiano's Pizza.

As many who read this blog know, I tend to frequent Maggiano's pretty often.  Not because of the amazing food, but rather because of the awesome staff.  It seems like it is one of the few places in Boca Raton where you can get a smile, and your food ordered correctly almost every time.

I ordered my usual pasta dish, and my son reluctantly ordered the pizza, with this nasty condescending face. He actually sat there sobbing for a while that we ended up at Maggiano's.  That was until his pizza came out and he took a bite.  Eating this pizza, suddenly brought life into his little pre-teen body.  He lifted his angered head up from the table and said "dad you really need to try this pizza."  So I did, and I was pleasantly surprised with the taste.  Maggiano's has a flatbread style pizza, with super thin crust, very little sauce, and a fantastic blend of cheeses.

The only negative thing I could find is that the pizza wasn't as crispy as it could have been, but on later visits it has come out perfect.  Maggiano's you have managed to surprise me with this delightful pizza concoction. Your flatbread pizza blows many of the other local places around town away.  Places like Seasons 52 and Blue Martini could learn something from your chef!  There is nothing else I would really change about this pizza.  My recommendation when eating at Maggiano's is to ask for Maria or German (pronounced her-mon).
