Giovanni’s Pizza Boca Raton – Oregano Overload

(The Original), Gino’s with the walls that you can write on and the hidden gem Home Run pizza on the South side.  This pizza today was a slap in the face of the greats I just mentioned.  The sauce was tart and way chunky.  The oregano that was on the top of the pie was grossly over poured and left it tasting like the dirty spice rack at the Franco American Corporation.

The word Oregano is derived from the Greek words for “joy of the mountains.”  I found no joy in the flattest part of the flattest state in America. (The highest point in Florida is Britton Hill, Lakewood Park in Walton County and is only 345 feet above sea level.)

I did find Oregano!

As you can see from the picture there are 2 slices left.  We did not get them to go and it was not that I could not finish them as much as I did not want to finish them.  The place was also on the skanky side, and the bathroom was on the side of the building like a gas station off the highway.  I recommend eating the road kill you can readily find on the side of any road in S. FL. over this horrible thing they called a pizza.  After I wiped the oregano and sauce off the pizza it was still not even close to fair.

2 Slices out of 8 and that is being nice.  They even had some award for best pizza on the wall.  I will be conducting my own investigation on the source of this award.
