Before going to my meeting at the design firm yesterday, I decided to meet Jim for lunch at Augy's Pizza in Boca Raton.  Augy's pizza has been around for many many years here in Boca Raton, but recently changed owners.  It still has the original taste though, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of the previous owners staff were still employed there.

I am not a big fan of Augy's regular pizza, but happen to really enjoy their Sicilian pizza.  The regular slice is average at best.  The Sicilian however, is a thin crust Sicilian, with an amazing taste by the edges.  This pizza is very unique and definitely helps them stand out from the rest in the area.  The sauce to cheese ratio is very even here, and as you can see they put the sauce on top of the cheese in some spots.  One of the negatives about Augy's in Boca Raton is that during lunch time, they leave the pizza exposed on the counter and let the customers take slices with no sneeze guard or cover.

This is pretty gross and hopefully something they will fix after reading this.  Due to the great taste of their Sicilian I will give Augy's in Boca Raton Florida 6 out of 8 slices.
