After meeting with a client at Starbucks in downt for some pizza.  Initially we were going to go to a new place called SoLita, and after walking up to the door we realized it was closed.

Not closed for good, just not open during the day.  We proceeded to walk towards the east and stumbled upon Tuscan Grill on the north side of Las Olas Blvd.  We checked out the menu and decided to give it a shot, and this turned out to be one of my smarter pizza decisions as of late!  This pizza was shockingly awesome.

Tuscan Grill was pretty much empty outside of our table, and @morewillie.  Willie decided to bail on us and eat with his family instead.  Imagine....choosing them over us! After ordering my plain pie, I began to anxiously await its arrival.  This restaurant smelled amazing, and for some reason I had an inkling like I was about to locate a new delicious local pizza place.  When the pizza came out, I found the presentation to be pleasing, and knew my inkling would be correct.

The pizza was delicious at first bite and continued to be the entire way through.  The cheese was amazingly fresh and applied perfectly over the smooth and sweet tasting sauce.  The crust was ridiculously crisp throughout the entire pie, and well done on the edges.  The taste was something they should be proud of. What a delightful surprise having to accidentally finding this place.

Tuscan grill is a place I would certainly go out of my way for, and it will be hard to go and try the others on Las Olas Blvd.  We will be trying Solita again soon, but will be shocked to find if it could compare to the pizza I ate at Rino's Tuscan Grill.
