Southern Minnesota Pizza at Casey’s General Stores
December 7th, 2009 - By: BurgerDogBoy
Starting with a single Iowa location in the 50s, Casey’s has grown to nearly 1500 stores. I’ve seen many of them in very small burgs, where they were the only commercial business, a lifeline to the community for groceries, gas, pizza, and baked goods.
Pizzas are prepared on site, and I’ve been eating their slices for 25 years. They’ll do in a pinch!
This location was in Southern Minnesota, north of Worthington. Isn’t it nice they put little tags on the slices so you can tell which is pepperoni, which is sausage? LOL. Something about the way they bake the cheese by the crust that is just great!
