ONE OF THE BEST PIZZA THAT’S FOR SURE. NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. REAL PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF DON’T NEED TO HEAR IT FROM OTHERS I COULD DECIDE AND SO CAN ALL THE OTHER MANY PEOPLE THAT REURN TO HAVE ANOTHER GO AT IT.

Moved to Florida years ago… have not been there since it was Patsy's Grimaldi got sued for using his own name…. Pizza was always better when Patsy was in the Kitchen used to be the best now I guess just another mini chain.

I have eaten at Grimaldis here in Houston, Tx. and it is excellent.

Yikes Douchetti, that hurts!

I agree that there are better places than Grimaldi's to chow down in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and while Lucali is a worthy competitor, I don't think you can really put Motorino or Roberta's up against Grimaldi's- they're two drastically different styles of pizza. In my opinion, Angelo's in midtown Manhattan makes a similar if not better pie than Grimaldi's, and without the wait!

I feel for you though Pizzaexpert, I was scolded for trying to snag some shots of the oven myself, but it looks like we both managed to make off with pictures of whatever that strange contraption is they use to make their pizzas.

They used to be GREAT, but that was YEARS ago. I gave up on them in the late '90s.
