John was the real Fire Rock, after he left, it closed down 4 months later. Hot Pie is the best pizza in West Palm.

John Reis never owned Fire Rock, he couldn't cut it in a big place and now has a small shop that barely gets by. I used to love Fire Rock and enjoyed his stories for a while but I came to find out that they were just that, STORIES. I miss the real Fire Rock.

I love hot pie. They have great pizza but in this area. I order from them offen. The staff is great very friendly.

The pizza at Hot Pie Pizza was terrific – nothing like it in the Palm Beach area – great feel and the smells were enough to make me want to try more than just pizza.

Your comments on the oven are absolutely wrong. It is a true coal fire oven, coal does not burn like wood, so a blaze is not necessary. Stick your head in the oven next time and see if its burning.

John Ries owned Firerocks for a couple years before starting Hot Pie Pizza – so there is a pretty solid connection between the two places.
