Anybody who puts bacon on pizza can't be a pizza expert. Try almost any other topping or just the plain pizza. You have to go back to Giovanni's and give it another try. They have huge slices in the daytime that you buy by the slice. They are usually thin crispy crust, huge slices, fresh, and authentic NY taste. Their individual pies are also good, but I prefer the slices. I respectfully disagree with your review and strongly recommend you give it another try.

Your comments would suggest that a ‘redneck’ could thump you in an IQ test. On the other hand, the fact that you’re posting your comments may mean that you and your hairy-backed friends may have had a little too much chianti. Either way, the obnoxious, in-your-face attitude can go back to New York. We want good food here, not bombastic morons who think they know food because they used to steal pizzas in Staten Island.

If you don't like the food at Giovanni's, you're probably some redneck who's used to eating dog shit. Giovanni's is EXCELLENT. I'm a full-blooded NY Italian who KNOWS what he's talking about. When it comes to Italian food, there's no such thing as “opinion”. There's only “fact”, and MY word is fact. If you disagree, may you and all of your ancestors rot in the bowels of hell.

I live in port st lucie and I travel miles to visit Giovanni's. My husband and I love everything they offer. The employees are very nice, especially the owners. I have been coming to Giovanni's since they opened. I have referred all of my friends and clients to them. So far I have yet to have a bad meal/pizza there. There sauce is NOT chunky and definetly not as acidic as this supposed “critic” says it is. It has just the right crispyness and cheesyness to it. They definetly use Grande Cheese for all of their meals. As for this “critic”, I think he needs to lay off the cheap stuff and get used to the real thing. Giovanni's is the best Italian restaurant in South Florida. No questions about it!

he told me he's been usin grande since theyve opened…..not just the pizza but eveything is very very good there and the portions are huge…

Normally grande is something I could pick out when I taste it, so I would have to come back and make sure for myself they use it. Maybe they recently switched or something.

i go to giovannis all the time they have the best pizza i ever had in fl. i was born and raised in ny this pizza is the closest to ny pizza i ever had i asked them what kind of cheese they use and they said grande and he showed me the block of cheese so i dont no what this guy is talking about grande is the top of the line cheese he is dum he shuld stick wit stick wit dominos if u like sugar in your sauce. o and know what u are talking about befor u open your mouth.

i used to make deliveries up to jupiter i stop by giovannis to get pizza 4 times a week the pizza is THE BEST i dont know what this critic is talking about…hes so used to eating papa john that he doesnt know good pizza when he taste one..
