Correct. That was our impression, as well. The new mgmt bought the name,
bought or ran the location,
and ignored the primary rules of restauranting: you got a good reputation
based on how you treated your
customers - consistency, courtesy, service, value, mood, and food. The first
waitress argued with us
on our choices, the second one disappeared for long stretches, and the
manager neither caught on or
cared. When you have to hunt down someone to pay the bill and get out, you
know they're in trouble.
The manager just look blankly at us when I asked for our bill, please; no
emotion, no apology; he seemed
bored and as if that was to just be expected. My wife suggested we walk the
bill. We could have easily done it;
no one was anywhere to be seen except one other confused couple by the door,
but that's not my style.
They'll succumb soon enough on their own.

Too bad. I liked the old place a lot. Thanks for responding. - Roger

It is like they brought in new management who is skimping corners, and doesn't understand how to run an establishment in America!

This used to be one of my favorite places in the Military Trail/Clint Moore area for lunch - good service, good, tasty food, reasonable prices. That was two years ago. We have been twice in spring/early summer 2009 and will not return. Lousy food, indifferent (and yet still somehow rude) staff, management, and service have torpedoed this place for us. Seeing as it used to be full and now only a quarter full, at best, beckons that others feel the same. Not recommended.
