Big standard slices, not quite Koronet size, but bigger than every other Upper West Side slices. Pretty much the only place that makes the $2.50 price tag worthwhile. They stay open until around 12AM weekends, the latest of all the slice joints I have been to recently. For straight value alone, this is the best slice of most of the Upper West Side joints. Here’s the essentials.

  • Crust – Chewy and crunchy when there’s not too much of a rush in the restaurant, it’s only downfall is that 9 out of 10 times it will collapse at the end crust due to the weight of the big slice, so be prepared for that.
  • Cheese & Sauce – a slightly skewed ratio in favor of the sauce, particularly at the end of the slice. It pools up a bit when the slice is fresh so watch out for splashage.

I will give Caesar’s Palace Pizza in NYC 5 out of 8 slices.

I just ordered some chocolate cake deserts, over $12 total, it was the worst piece of s*** I have ever tasted. I though I was eating poison, how can they sell this?. I am  pissed, and hate getting ripped off. They try to sell what’s old. I’m disgusted and annoyed that these assholes, can get away with this.  Don’t go there unless you want to get sick!

I’ve been a customer since I moved to NYC, that was ten years ago. I’ve moved several times but nothing can keep me from taking that 1 train to this cozy neighborhood pizzeria. The slices are delicious and I haven’t tasted one anywhere quite like it.
