Mario’s Pizza & Restaurant White Plains NY

After throwing out my pizza from Nicky’s Restaurant across the street (please see previous post), I walked into Mario’s. All the excitement of being back in “New York” had been deflated and I wasn’t expecting much. However the pizza here was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but if every pizza joint was like this, there would be no reason to complain. I can’t help but wonder why anyone would go to Nicky’s if this was across the street. I mean just look at the pcitures! Same camera, the slice at Mari’os was colorful and vibrant. A pleasant sauce, tangy cheese, and three more visits by me before the week was over. Mario’s gets 6 of 8 slices.
