Ordered 2 slices, Ham + Pineapple, and one Cheese.
I ate the HP first, and the taste was so nasty. It seemed to maybe be a day 1/2 old, give or take. It was so bad. When you have old pizza, the crust may become dry and cracked when you bend it. This one was not cracking, instead it would just turn a whiter color on the place where the crack would have been.
This means it was stale as hell, no flavor. The cheese was old and hard.
The H+P was just Garbage. I took a few bites, and brought it back to the cashier. How can you f*$k up pizza so bad? I mad him give me two brand new, fresh cheese slices, because I couldn't get my money back.
I could tell the dude was pissed, and he didn't want to trade the food.
Anyways, don't go there.
But I continually try food all over from different places, I am a cook too by the way.

I stopped by and ate at this location on Washington Ave. one night,<br

Yes, $3.25 sounds high, but the slices are big, and everything on South Beach is expensive anyway. My wife and I were able to eat for under $20 and be full. I found that to be an accomplishment on South Beach.

You fail to mention that the slice is HUGE. I like it because the consistency and taste is comparable with some pizza I've tried up in The Bronx, NY. I don't know about this garlic taste you were talking about, but when I had my 2 slices, the garlic-type taste wasn't so overwhelming. I do agree, however, that if the sauce was a touch sweeter it would be an awesome slice! I admit I've had better and would say it's more like 41/2 out of 8 slices using your scale to measure a slice.

I've had a few slices of Deco's pizza when I was there last year.
