This pizza looks so sloppy, I don't think I would give it a second chance Roberto!

it doesn't take much to have a slice of pizza and flip it over and take a picture to write a bad review

Well, I can't remember the last time I took a pizza and turned it upside down to make it messy for a photo. I typed to the reviewer of this article, and this is how it came out of the box.

yeah, btw love the advertisement at the bottom for Papa John's Pizza
Not biased at all- how much did they pay you for that!>?????????????????

That is actually an ad served randomly by key words from google. I think we get like 0.01 if you click, so please click it ha ha ha! We hate Papa Johns!

I think your crazy. LoPiccolo's Pizza is the best pizzeria in the hauppauge/ smithtown area. The workers are always smiling and very friendly…not to mention the variety of choices. The prices are very reasonable. And the new pizza man is very nice, you should go and try it again, you wont be disappointed.

I think you better you better take this off your webiste…you dont know who these people are…

Not like the reviewer gave that bad of a review Tony? It still got 3 out of 8 slices, which means if he goes back there again and they got rid of the sogginess and stuff, they could potentially get even a better review. This will at least show they cared about the pizza. That will turn this into a positive instead of a negative??

JIm, could you go there and take photos of your pizza, and send me a review based on your experience? If it reads well I would be happy to print it. This site is all about fairness and allowing the readers to have their say and send in reviews.

  • Craig (lapp) wrote:

Crystal, please go there and send me photos of the pizza you ate as well as your review of the place, and I would be happy to print your view of your experiences.

    warning number 2:
TAKE THESE PEOPLE OFF YOUR WEBSITE.

  • Craig (lapp) wrote:

I would be happy to print your review as well if you can send me a review in with photos of the place. As long as it doesn't seem like an advertisement for the place and an honest review.

What people? Please have them email me if they feel this was an unfair review, and I will even print their reasoning in the actual article above if it makes sense. I am going to come and review it myself next month when I am in town. Hopefully I will love it as much as you Crystal, Jim and Daniella. Incidentally Tony, places that take the time to respond in this comment section usually get an increase in business since the customers see they care. So instead of making threats through a public forum that has IP tracing, maybe it would be good for you to mention the positives about this place. Just because the reviewer didn't like it doesn't mean he is right and has the only opinion, in fact this place could be awesome to 99.9% of the public? He just took the time to write it

  • Tony wrote:

Okay I understand how you want to work things out.

  • Craig (lapp) wrote:

    15 Jan 2009 at 4:00 pm

Does that mean you will send in your own review?

  • Craig (lapp) wrote:

    15 Jan 2009 at 4:23 pm

The review is down Tony while we have our legal counsel review it. Should it be deemed to be misleading based upon the guys review it will be removed. We also will have him check into the IP trace to see who would send in a comment that seemed threatening. Wouldn't be right for the place or a friend to warn this reviewer without even taking the time to send in their own version.

I have been a loyal customer of LoPiccolos since they first opened their doors a few months back. It truly is the definition of a happy family business, everything from Nonna's amazing rice balls to her succulent soups, and all the dough in between. Both the owner and his wife are always putting the business first with great pizza and family style dinners. The waitresses and the guys behind the counter are alway smiling from ear to ear when each customer arrives. They are happy to be there and make my day the best possible. LoPiccolos really is the mac daddy of new york pizzerias. I hope they continue to grow, and prosper in the striving economy and become the best pizzeria on long island like I know they can. “Pay it forward”

are you serious, you definitely have no idea what you are talking about. The owners of this pizzeria have two other very successful food businesses. They know what they are doing and the owner benny definitely knows how to make pizza as a true italian himself. He puts 100% into his pizzeria and making customers satisfied. Obviously whoever doesn't like his pizza doesn't really know what pizza should taste like, go back to dominos or something cause apparently thats more up your ally. I wish lopiccolos the best of luck !!

this pizzeria does not belong on this site or anything linked to this site—i was there the other day and had a pulled pork bbq slice that was amazing and like nothing i've ever seen before–the people were super nice and the place was very clean.. i think it is unfairof u to put them on here> this is not good for any business starting out and could be detrimental.

  • Craig (lapp) wrote:

Did you happen to take a photo? All anyone has to do is take a photo and send me a different review and I will be happy to post it! Cannot understand why everyone gets so upset and only complain without trying to do anything to make the review read better?

  • mustard wrote:

what do you want a photo of… ill get it

  • Craig (lapp) wrote:

    04 Feb 2009 at 6:17 pm

A photo of the slice you eat and a real review. If it appears fake and totally biased then it will not be printed. Just an honest opinion like the other review before

Iama regular customer of this restaurant. Judging by the comments, it appears that the reviewer had a sloppy slice. I ordered 3 regular pies fora party yesterday and the product, along with the knots, was flawless.
