OMG! Perfect crust, perfect sauce, great cheese. My buddy got the diavola, great toppings (pretty good kick too!), I got the Margherita Crudo. Even BETTER! Best pizza I have had in Naples hands down. 

Waiter was super friendly, it seemed like I was a long time customer and he was happy to have us there..

I will be going back just about every week for a pizza. Thanks Alibus!

Best in Italy is down in the Catania province of Sicily at the top of the hill in the town of Motta Santa Anastasia, Valentinos is the name and the Pizza parmigiania is the pizza to get. BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD, EVER, IN THE HISTORY OF MAN, ever……

As for the whiteness of the crust that might be caused by the flash of my camera. Or maybe it was a bit too white. I don't remember.
As for too much red sauce showing, I don't see its connection to how good or bad the pie actually tasted. I've had great pies that have a lot of sauce and great pies that don't have much at all.
As for the amount of cheese in the center, you might be right. I honestly don't remember if I felt like there was or wasn't.

let's start with the last comment first. I would want to be a lot more specific about regional differences of pizza in Italy. There is no singular “Italian pie”. Neapolitan pizza is very different from roman pizza which is very different than silician pizza.

Maybe you haven't been to italy and don't know this. but I thought I'd let you know that if you say “seems like most pizza in italy sucks”, italians and people who have spent a lot of time there won't know what you mean. At best, its a gross generalization. And at worst, it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

As for the “this pizza looks like crap” comment, well, that's entirely up to you decide. What you think looks good or bad will always be different from what I think looks good or bad. But I will say this, I know a lot of people who are passionate about pizza and those who are the better pizza critics will have at least tried the pizza before making a comment like that.

I'll end with saying this: I tried the pizza. You didn't. People can judge between us. They can believe the guy who actually went to the pizzeria and tried the pie or the guy who based his judgement on a photograph.
