I do agree, that Mario The Baker has gone down the tubes, but when I went there on I think the 2nd night they opened the pizza was not bad at all. Not sure what has happened since, but on the evening I went there, the food was better then Anthony's!

I prefer slices when trying to review, as it is hard and costly to eat a fresh pie everyplace I go. Not like anyone is funding this, and it is easy to be critical, when you have others who eat the pizza with you. Usually I am alone, and a slice does the trick.

If you are so passionate I would welcome you to send in some photos and reviews, and I will publish them, but if you are not the expert you think you are, then I understand if you do not want to help our readers find good pizza.

Okay. Coal Fired pizza is a whole other animal. You can't judge it next to a regular pie. Anthony's is very good Coal Fired pizza. A lot better than the crap that you get at Coal Mine.
At least one of you did something right on this site, for a change. You ordered a whole pie rather than just a slice. You can NOT judge a pizza joint based on a crappy slice that has been sitting under a heat lamp for God only knows how long. It just can't be done. Anyone who calls themselves a pizza critic should know this. I won't even get a slice if I am at the mall, starving, and Sbarro's is the only place to eat. We eat a lot of pizza, and we are very critical of it. We know a good pie. You gave Mario the Baker 5 out of 8 slices, and Anthony's only 2? M the B is the absolute worst pizza I have had since I have lived down here. I wouldn't feed it to my dog.
I disagree with SO much of what you guys say on this site…especially that Craig guy.

I work There … They constantly underpay their staff & the guys that hand you your plates are probably the same ones who just cleaned off 20 tables & probably even took out the huge bags of leaking garbage ALL the way AROUND the other side of the building.
but besides that, the place is very CLEAN ! believe me !!! The food is great “i have pizza every single day there. sometimes ill have the wings with onions. all the sandwiches are excellent & the cheese cake is not suggested, its very HEAVY cake. if you get what i mean. should have a drink near by if you get that

Matt, you and I share similar opinions when it comes to this place and to think all of the Boca-lites have created such buzz about Anthony''s coming to Boca. I recently had lunch there with some friends and after a few bites of mushy pizza with a burnt bottom we decided we would never return either! Can't these guys get it together ?
