I grew up just two minutes from L&B Spumoni Gardens and spent most of my life (42 years) enjoying every morsel of that pizza as much as I could (along with a spumoni or italian ice chaser). I am now 55 years old, living on Long Island and I will still drive to Brooklyn any chance I get for a taste of those squares (making sure I bring some home because they do travel well). Wait for a just-out-of-the-oven pie which shouldn’t be difficult because they don’t last too long when they do come out. They will also let you pick your slices–ends, middles, sides–now what other place does that? DON’T LET THOSE PICTURES FOOL YOU–THEY MAY NOT LOOK LIKE IT TO A CASUAL OBSERVER BUT THOSE SQUARES ARE PERFECTION, EVEN IN 2011)!!!!!

Hands down the best pizza, ever. I will bike 6 miles to go to this place. This places proves you do not have to use 30 dollar a pound buffalo milk cheese made from Italy or use other over priced ingredients.
Just try it. Make sure you order the square slice. Their standard slice is ok.
