I also frequent this store with my family as we live near by. My co-workers and I all ordered. Being on a food plan that requires that I eat protien, vegetables and complex carbs for lunch, I ordered a spa chicken with brocolli and wheat pasta. After serving me my salad the server (who was training another server) informed me that there was no wheat pasta. I said that would not work, I enquired as to whether there were any alternatives and then asked to please cancel my order. The server immediately informed me that I would have to then pay for the salad that was included with my meal. I said are you sure and her response was "well you ate it didn't you". After my co-workers ate, I once again asked the waitress to verify with the manager that I would be charged for this salad after having no lunch and she stated that she was the manager. The manager/server brought the check and I reviewed the check and asked one more time for the manager. She sent me to a young man who was cooking. He explained that they don't always have wheat pasta. I said that I should have been told this before my salad was delivered to me and that I did not expect to be charged for an item that was included with a meal that they could not deliver. He then slid the check accross the counter in a forceful manner, striking my arm and said "pay for the damn salad". I was embarrased in front of my co-workers and paid the check. I called Sals from my car. Picked up this exact order and returned to my office to eat alone. Then only thing said by my co-workers on the return to work was "that is what happens with you let kids make business decisions". I will not be back with my co-workers or family. All over a side salad.... that's what happens when you let kids made your business decisions for you.

I took my co-workers to lunch at the store at Yamato and Congress.
