I'm from Philadelphia (where this chain is based) and I have to agree with the original post. The pizza definitely looks a lot better than it tastes. There's something off with the dough and the sauce. I won't say it's the worst pizza I've had, because the national chains are terrible and there are also some local places that churn out slop, but given how expensive Peace a Pizza is, it's pretty disappointing. They really could use a lesson on the basics.

This is my favorite pizza restaurant…and I'm a NY pizza snob. Other pizza lovers that came to the Sun-Sentinel pizza tweet-up recently all raved about Peace A Pizza and I agree…fresh delicious high quality pizza with well seasoned crusts and no grease! Lines out the door at lunch time whenever I go.

Have not tried the pizza,but in there defense,it's not considered a pizza place.It's more for sandwiches,and wings.it's like going to a steak house and ordering the fish.it will be o,k but you're at a steak house,Im going to have a steak.And dont forget,you're in boca where the customers are rude,nasty,or just plain mean.These people live to complain,waiting is impossible for them to comprehend.They valet their beemers,and s,u,v,'s,find something to complain about every part of the business,then they barely tip the servers,complain all the way out the door,then stiff the valet who just ran across the huge parking lot in ninety degree heat.So dont blame the staff for not giving you a message,or manacure while they watch six of you ask for seperate checks.they all can afford to buy their seventy thousand dollar cars,but leave a decent tip no way,After all the girl is getting paid,wich is what she will hear when she gets to her second job,so she can pay for school.Shame on the people from boca,shame on you!!!!!!

It could be a product of the management. I have been to the PA Peace a Pizza shops before and am very pleased with the experience. I haven’t had a chance to try this one yet as I just moved down to Florida.

As for the oven, I’m pretty sure it’s just like any other pizza oven…it cooks the pies. Whether it’s a deck oven or the one they use, it’s not like the oven makes the pies for them…
